Guidelines that apply to all three forms:
Everything except the CV must be listed on one page, including the pre-printed form text as well as the responses and narratives. The narratives must be written in 12-pt Times font and must have the allotted margins of the downloaded form.
-
Specific recommendations for each of the three forms available as links in Section 05.01 of AA/PPS No. 02.04.20, Presidential Awards for Excellence in Teaching, Scholarly/Creative Activity, Service, and Presidential Seminar:
1) Scholarly/Creative Activity – The narrative should not be a list of publications; rather, it should summarize the publications and explain their significance.
2) Service – The three sections of the summary (Institutional, Professional, and Community) should describe the most important service contributions.
3) Teaching – The Summary section should include items such as new course development, technology implementation and integration, grants, awards, and publications related to teaching, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and impact or significance of endeavors in teaching.
